Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 0.25 cup cream cheese softened
  • 0.25 cup freeze-dried strawberries crushed
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk any kind, as needed

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Parchment-lined plate

Method

  1. In a large bowl, mix rolled oats, almond flour, and vanilla protein powder.
  2. Add softened cream cheese, crushed freeze-dried strawberries, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir until combined.
  3. If the dough is too dry, add 1-2 tablespoons milk, one at a time, until a moldable consistency forms.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined plate.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  6. Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

Notes

Use high-quality protein powder as the flavor matters. Don't skip chilling - this step is key for the right texture. Fresh strawberries have too much moisture - stick to freeze-dried for best texture. Store in refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months.
