Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats old-fashioned for best texture
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 0.5 cup almond butter natural, without added sugar
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries chopped
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened coconut flakes optional

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowls
  • Spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper

Method

  1. Gather your ingredients and tools (mixing bowls, spatula)
  2. In a large bowl, mix rolled oats and protein powder until combined
  3. Add almond butter and honey (or maple syrup). Mix until evenly moistened
  4. Gently fold in cream cheese and chopped strawberries without breaking the berries
  5. Shape mixture into bite-sized balls (about 1 inch in diameter)
  6. Chill on a parchment-lined baking sheet for at least 30 minutes before serving

Notes

Use ripe strawberries for maximum sweetness and chop them finely to distribute flavor evenly. Use softened cream cheese for authentic cheesecake flavor. If using frozen strawberries, thaw and drain excess moisture for best results. Can customize by adding chocolate chips or using different berries.
