- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- In a small bowl, mix cottage cheese, lemon juice, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
- Spread a generous layer of cottage cheese mixture onto each toasted baguette slice.
- Top with smoked salmon, capers, and chopped red onion.
- Garnish with fresh dill and lemon zest. Serve immediately.
Notes
Best served immediately after assembly. Toast bread ahead and store airtight up to 1 day. Cottage cheese mixture can be prepared up to 4 hours ahead and refrigerated.
