- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Cook diced bacon in a large skillet until crisp. Remove with a slotted spoon, leaving grease behind.
- Add onion and garlic to skillet and cook 2–3 minutes until translucent and fragrant.
- Add ground beef, cook until browned, then drain excess grease. Stir in bacon and let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs, cream, mustard, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spread beef mixture in baking dish, top with 1 cup cheese, pour egg mixture, then add remaining cheese.
- Bake 25–30 minutes until center is set and top is golden. Rest 5 minutes before slicing.

Pro tip: Drain beef well and let mixture cool slightly before adding egg custard to avoid scrambling.
