Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add ground beef, breaking it apart as it browns.
- Add sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet with beef. Cook for 5-7 minutes until beef reaches 160°F internal temperature and vegetables are softened. Drain excess grease.
- Return skillet to medium heat. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and room temperature cream cheese. Stir continuously until cream cheese is completely melted. Remove from heat.
- Create 8 cheese circles on parchment-lined baking sheet using 1/4 cup cheese per circle, leaving 2 inches between circles. Bake 8-10 minutes until edges are golden brown with lace-like appearance.
- Remove from oven and cool for exactly 1 minute. Place 2 tablespoons beef mixture on each cheese circle and carefully roll into logs. Cool 2-3 minutes to set shape.
Notes
Work quickly when assembling - timing is crucial for workable cheese that doesn't crack. Ground beef should reach 160°F for food safety. Store in refrigerator up to 3 days or freeze up to 3 months.
